Dinners for 5 are a unique opportunity for five CFAN members to spend an evening with a seasoned industry mentor, hosted by the mentor in his or her home. It is a delightful and rare chance to hear stories, ask questions, and build relationships in a relaxed and personal setting.
The CFAN Director Shadowing Program provides CFAN members the opportunity to gain exposure to active professional sets and working directors. Selected applicants will be paired with a working director who will commit to no less than four shadow days over a six-month period.
The intended purpose of this program is to create a gateway between film school and the Industry through the guidance of the Caucus Foundation. The program is designed to help CFAN members carry a script that has gone through some development into further development with a Caucus mentor. CFAN will be accepting submissions for TV and feature scripts beginning in June with the hope to select three members to be paired with a mentor.
The bi-annual CFAN Mixer provides members the opportunity to meet new CFAN faces, catch up with old friends, tap our resources and strengthen our networks. It is also a great opportunity to hear about upcoming CFAN events from Board Members and offer suggestions for how existing and future programs can further benefit CFAN members.
